My First LeNique is a stylish range of custom-made, entry-level Smooth and Latin/Rhythm competition dresses. With simple yet classic designs, these dresses are perfect for the first-time competitor! Our My First LeNique collection has minimal decorations which can be further enhanced with special fabric, stones, and more to create a costume truly unique to you!

In an easy step-by-step process below, you’ll choose color, size, style, plus other elements to give you more comfort or flare, making it YOUR First LeNique! Let’s start designing!

Select between three different colors - Black, Navy, or Red

We’ve found these colors to be flattering both on the body and under the competition lighting. Additional colors available (with added fee): Royal Purple, Charcoal, Blueberry, Burgundy

Choose a skirt style.

For Latin/Rhythm, choose between fringe and godet (pictured above). The godet skirt can be made of satin or same fabric as the body.

For Smooth, choose between satin godets (pictured below) or satin circle skirt (not pictured). Chiffon is also available for an additional charge.

Pick your neckline - Boat, Halter, or Sweetheart

Select your backline - Deep V or Keyhole

Select your size.

My First LeNique is made to the standard sizes in the guide below. Skirt length is customized to your height. Sizes above or below the range below are available for an added fee. Heights above 5’10” are available for Smooth dresses for an added fee.
