Are they clean?

Are they fresh enough for the competition?

Do you want people to say "well she needs a new pair."

Are there any repairs needed to the shoe?

Do we need to glue the tips?

Do we need new heel guards?

It is always a good thing to have an extra pair of shoes on the side that as your competitive pair or show dance pair. They need to be fresh.

What we will show you now is how to make your shoes look fresh and clean. Using Lena's favorite product, shout wipes. You should always carry this product in your pocket. Gentleman as well. The shout wipe has a soapy solution so have a paper towel handy to dry your shoes.

Inspect your shoe. Typiclly the dirty marks are on the side of the shoe where you use the floor. And sometime a little bit on the heel.

Then when you’re ready. Just quickly start wiping the shoe down with the shout wipe. Don’t press too hard. AS you’re wiping smooth it out so you don’t see any wet spots.

"I use to love wearing color shoes so, you can see the dirty marks on the white shoes or the cream shoes, or pink shoes so much more. So I always had shout wipes with me so I would do it between the rounds so I would come back out with fresh shoes with no black marks. " - Lena Kosovich

Now that you’re getting some results. The next step is to take your paper towel and dry the shoe.
